What are the differences between these option?

1. 1S & 3SD optimized using single 18650; 1SM & 3SM available using more batteries combination, optimized unsing CR123's or 2x18650 with extender, the output on max are same with same emitter.
2. 1S & 1SM-single output for tactical usage, 3SD & 3SM-3 stage output for general use.
