If you find a mode you like, press to lock on.If you leave on for more then 1 second this light has "Mode memory". Next time you turn it on, it remembers the last mode.
    • 3SD-->Shut down at 2.7V to protect lithium battery from over-discharging; 1SM-2--> no this function, very dim when voltage below 3.3V.

Note:

  1. 1SM-2 update to 1.2A output.
  2. 3SM MC-E pill works with D26 OP reflector, drive the emitter at 2.1A; batteries: 2xCR123A, 2xprotected RCR123; or 4xCR123A, 2x18650 with the extension tube.
  3. please use the lower level if you CL1H MCE light get hot.

Note: 3SD vs 3SM

In 3SM you'll get regulated output with CR/RCR123 only. Using 18650 brightness will drop gradually. 3SD keeps constant output to the end.

Plus the 3SD will be brighter because it's driven at 1.2a on high. The 3SM is driven at 1a.

One of the best things about Dereelight is their ease of being upgraded. If you will use only 18650 get the 3SD. If at later date you want(need) to use CR123's or RCR123's you can get a 3SM pill, when more efficient LED's come out just buy the new pill for ~ $30.00 instead of the whole light.
